The values are an estimate made from the photo. You can change the portion from ½ to 2× on the meal screen, edit the meal or delete it. The clearer the photo, the better the result: show the whole plate, shoot from above and in good light.

Check your internet connection and try again. The app switches away from a slow AI model on its own; if the problem continues, you can describe the meal with "Type it" on the camera screen.

On the Profile tab, sign in with Apple or Google under "Keep your data safe". When you sign in with the same account on your new phone, your meals, weigh-ins and profile come back.

Tap Profile › Activity and turn on the connection. On iPhone, check the step, active energy and weight permissions under Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › MyDietLens. On Android, check MyDietLens's permissions in the Health Connect app.

Every day you log a meal adds to your streak. On day seven a heart opens under your calories; as the streak grows it beats, ripples and turns gold on day thirty. Once the heart is open, a single empty day won't break the streak, but two empty days in a row reset it.

Profile › Reminders. When they're on you get a reminder in the evening, a little earlier if your streak is at risk. You can also manage notification permission in your phone's settings.

On iPhone, Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play › Payments and subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
